Lorin Shearburn, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Shearburn joined Parkdale in 2009. She is a longtime advocate for companion animals and is passionate about their care. She has volunteered for over 15 years in shelters including Harmony House for Cats in Chicago, the Wisconsin Humane Society, Dane County Humane Society and Dane County Friends of Ferals. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary medicine from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2006. She was awarded the AAFP Feline Medicine and Surgery award her senior year. She is a member of the MVMA, WVMA, AVMA, HSVMA and American Association of Feline Practitioners.

She has served on an international panel to create the Enviornmental Needs Guidelines for Cats through the AAFP. Dr. Shearburn was also interviewed for the February 2013 issue of Cat Fancy Magazine for feline dental health month.
Dr. Shearburn has 3 young cats: Athena, Echo and Hermes. She also enjoys yoga, gardening, playing music and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
